    I just received the item and have not used it yet. I bought it as a “tester.” At first inspection, the metal frame does not align evenly, but it does close securely. A minute or so of hand-forcing seemed to align it better (this is my pickiness given I plan to create a high-end product). The spacing between the perimeter of the plastic shell and the frame is not even, but again, I have not used it yet and I suspect that will correct itself once I have actually added my materials onto the clamshell surface. This size is very good. It will hold the smaller size iPhone with an “otterbox” cover and a few other needed necessities for a fancy night on the town. The metal frame, other than the previously noted mis-alignment was in perfect condition with no visible blemishes.
